Found a new Blog toplist, looks pretty nice.

I just can’t believe it. I played all night and I managed to run in to pocket jacks no matter what I had. It all started at about 2 am when I was playing for the small blinds with the fish. I kicked in $11, all I had brought to the table and instantly got called by some nub. I had a pocket pair of aces and the highest card on the table was a jack, I was damned sure until I saw the cards. Pocket Jacks. Just an hour after that I called a big bet when I was sitting on the highest pair in the flop, I had pair of tens with an Ace kicker. Felt pretty good until after the river he shows me pocket jacks and takes all my money.

I hate jacks.

Lots and lots of people are a bit scared about signing up on a poker room. I’m not. The reason most people are a bit scared is becasue they consider online poker a shady business. I claim the opposit and here is why:

Online Poker is a business where you make lots and lots of money.
By running a poker room you make lots of money, risking those big bucks to do shady business is just stupid.

If people trust you, you make more money.
Trust is important in the poker business. If you get people to trust you, they will deposit more money, play more poker and you will make more money. If they don’t trust you, you are screwed.

If you have a goose that lays golden eggs, You don’t want to start with any tricks.
If you are the ceo of a poker company, you are a rich guy. You make lots and lots of money. Would you try to start scamming a few extra bucks?

I play a lot of nightly games with Americans, the reason for this is that I have a feeling (a not very well grounded feeling, but still) that people from the US play more for leisure. Europeans always give me the feeling that they play to make a living. My idea is that people playing for fun will be more loose with their money.

I make pretty good money at these nigthly games and most of the time I win. The problem with playing against rookies is that they will call to much. I know, of course, that in the long run I will beat them. In the short run I’m usually at 60-40. This means 40% of the times they actually do hit the flush or that straight they’ve been drawing for and it makes me insane.

It doesn’t matter that I know that they are supposed to do it 40% of the times. It doesn’t matter that I know I get their money in the long run. I go crazy.

This is my blog about internet poker. I’m a good internet poker player living in Sweden. I play at 24h and Chilipoker at the moment and I’m pretty happy with the gambling there. If you want to read more about my poker games, follow this blog.
